This Award has been considered as the most prestigious achievement for luxury hotels and spas around the globe. Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort has been entered in three categories the "Luxury Golf Resort", "LuxuryWedding Destinantion", and "Luxury Romantic Hotel". The World Luxury Hotel Awards is a recognized global organization that provides luxury hotels with recognition for their world class facilities and service excellence provides to guests.

The World Luxury Hotel Awards aim to encourage and raise service standards within the luxury hotel industry. Awards are presented to luxury hotels in different categories on a country and global basis.The judging criteria of these Awards are based upon facilities and service excellence provided by hotels. It is a consumer based program where guests submit their reviews to the organizers. The Awards are exclusive to Luxury Hotels, Lodges, Resorts, and Hotel Groups and do not include any other areas of the travel industry. The final results will be based upon votes per category on a country and global basis. Voting will take place around June 2014 and the winners are announced and presented with their awards at the annual World Luxury Hotel Awards Gala Ceremony.
